| Day 1 | USA - PANAMA CITY - Depart Miami for flight to Panama City. Arrival transfer to Hotel Marbella or similar. |
| Day 2 | PANAMA CITY - Tour the historic ruins of Panama Viejo, the first city founded on the Pacific side by the Spanish and subsequently sacked by the pirate, Henry Morgan. Visit Casco Antiguo, the colonial sector of the city. The colonial area has exquisite French, Spanish and Italian architecture and is home to the Independence Plaza, the Presidential Palace, Bolivar Plaza, the National Theater and French Plaza. The tour continues to the Amador Causeway where you will be able to see the ships passing under the Bridge of Americas. Lunch will be either at Flamenco Island where you can explore the artisan shops or at Mi Pueblito, a picturesque recreation of a rural village. After lunch, tour the Museum of the Interoceanic Canal and view the exhibits that explains the fascinating history of the canal. Visit the Miraflores Locks to observe the operation of the canal as you watch ships being lowered and raised. Return to the hotel late in afternoon. | Day 3 | GAMBOA RAINFOREST ADVENTURE - Depart in the morning for Gamboa Rainforest Resort where you will enjoy a variety of adventures including an aerial tram into the rainforest canopy, the butterfly farm, the orchid exhibit and aquarium. Lunch will be at the Los Lagartos restaurant at the resort. Return to hotel late in the afternoon. (Breakfast, Lunch) |
| Day 4 | SAN BLAS ISLANDS - Early breakfast and transfer from the hotel to the airport for flight to San Blas Islands, home to the Kuna Indians. Arrival and transfer by boat to a small resort with basic, comfortable accommodations. Enjoy the day in the sun, experience the distinctive Kuna culture, visit a few of their island communities, observe the women making their unique handicrafts called molas. Overnight at Hotel Narasgandup. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) |
| Day 5 | SAN BLAS ISLANDS - A day of leisure to enjoy the beautiful waters that surround these islands. Overnight Hotel Narasgandup(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) |
| Day 6 | SAN BLAS - PANAMA CITY - Transfer by boat to the airport for morning flight to Panama City. Arrival transfer to hotel. Remainder of day at leisure. Overnight Hotel Marbella or similar. (Breakfast) |
| Day 7 | SAN BLAS - EMBERA DRUA INDIANS - Travel by bus to the Tropical Rainforest of the Chargres National Forest. Board a dugout canoe and travel up the Chagres River to the Embera-Drua community. Meet with the friendly people of this Indian community and learn about their indigenous culture and traditions. Enjoy lunch with them. Take a walking tour with the medicine man who will explain the use of plants as natural medicines. The village lies above a beautiful tranquil natural pool and waterfall in the river. The Embera Indians are master artisans and are well known for their baskets and high quality wood cravings. Return to hotel in Panama City in late afternoon.
