Arrive in Cape Town
Upon arrival, transfer to the La Splendida Hotel at Mouille Point.
Breakfast at the hotel. Take a tour of Cape Town, including the colorful Cape Malay neighborhood of Bo-Kaap and the District Six Museum, which is dedicated to the history of Cape Town during Apartheid. Afterwards, visit Table Mountain (weather permitting) to learn about it's unique habitat and take in spectacular views of the city.
Cape Point & Peninsula
After breakfast, head to the Cape of Good Hope, also known as Cape Point, once a crucial trade route. From there, take a boat trip in Hout Bay to Seal Island, where you can see hundreds of seals and sea lions sunbathing on every inch of the tiny island, as well as other marine life. End the day with a visit to Boulders Penguin Colony, a unique project to help restore the habitat of native penguin species.
Fly to Kruger
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Hoedspruit, just outside of Kruger National Park. Transfer to the Motswari Game Lodge in the Timbavati Game Reserve. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before a fantastic diner under the stars.
Days Five - Seven
Safari in Kruger & Timbavati
To get the best chance at spotting animals, start early in the day. Afterward, brunch will be served and you'll have a chance to take a nap before heading out on another adventure that afternoon. Dinner at the lodge.
Breakfast at the lodge. Transfer to Nelspruit Airport for your flight to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.
Upon arrival, transfer to the 528 Victoria Falls Guesthouse. In the evening, you'll enjoy a sunset game-viewing cruise on the Zambezi River with drinks and canapes on board. The animals are particularly active this time of day, whether they're just waking up from their daytime siestas for nighttime hunts, or taking a sip of water from the riverbanks before turning in.
After breakfast at the hotel, take a guided tour of the famous Victoria Falls, named for Queen Victoria by Dr. David Livingstone and called Mosi-Oa-Tunya "the Smoke that Thunders" by the locals. November is the beginning of the rainy season, which means the amount of water that flows will be reaching its peak.
The afternoon will be free to explore the area, go on an adventure, or maybe take a side trip into neighboring Zambia.
Chobe National Park
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Kazungula border to meet your guide in Botswana, then head to Chobe National Park. Chobe National Park is well-known for its large herds of elephants that frequent the Chobe River daily. The park also has lions, leopards, buffaloes, and a whole host of antelope such as sables, pukus, kudus, elands, roans, and many others. The river teems with rafts of hippos and some of the biggest crocodiles in Africa.
Start with a morning cruise along the Chobe River where you can see the many animals that flock to the riverbanks and islets. Lunch at a local hotel. After lunch, take a game drive through the National Park to see even more animals. Return to Victoria Falls.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for your journey home.
