DAY 1

Arrive in Delhi and transfer to your hotel.

DAY 2

After breakfast, start your day by visiting some of Delhi's highlights. Stop at the Red Fort, built when the Mughals moved their capitol from Agra to Delhi. From there, head to the Jama Masjid mosque, the largest in India, able to hold over 25,000 worshippers. Enjoy a rickshaw ride through the streets of Old Delhi around Jama Masjid, then visit Raj Ghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Drive past the Rashtrapati Bhawan (the presidential palace) before a photo stop at India Gate. End your introduction to Delhi with a visit to Humayun's Tomb, a magnificent mixture of Indo-Islamic architecture with beautiful gardens.

DAY 3


After breakfast, drive to Agra with a stop at the Itmad-Ud-Daula, often called the Baby Taj. This tomb has a strong Persian influence with its white marble and inlaid semi-precious stones.


Upon arrival in Agra, check into your hotel.

DAY 4

Early morning visit to the Taj Mahal, the white marble mausoleum built by Shah Jahan as a memorial for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. From there, visit the Agra Fort, commissioned by Mughal Emperor Akbar and one of the main palaces of the Mughal Empire, it is full of beautiful architecture and history.

DAY 5

After breakfast, head to Jaipur with a stop along the way at the Umaid Lake Palace for lunch. Afterward, take a Juggad drive through the local villages. The juggad is an open-air truck used for village public transportation and are often colorfully decorated. Visit local farms and residents, and sip chai tea before continuing onto Jaipur.

DAY 6

After breakfast, drive up to the Amber Fort by jeep and visit this stunning blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture that kept the Mughal army and Jaipur residents safe during its many wars. From there, stop at the Hawa Mahal Palace for photos, one of the most iconic buildings in Jaipur. The unusual windows were originally built for the ladies of the royal household to watch the outside world comfortably. Head to the City Palace, still occupied by the former royal family, and Jantar Mantar astronomical park.

DAY 7

After breakfast, drive to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, check into your hotel for the night.
