Usually Panama is a place to stop for a day or two on your way to somewhere else in Latin America. You visit the Panama Canal, the Frank Gehry-designed Biomuseum, and you've seen Panama. But for those who are willing to linger, the country offers so much more. There is incredible biodiversity in its jungles, a vibrant indigenous population of various tribes that still live traditionally, and absolutely gorgeous beaches on both coasts.
