Day One - Feb 12

Arrive in Jeddah

Upon arrival, transfer to the Movenpick City Star Hotel in Jeddah.

Day Two - Feb 13

Jeddah

Breakfast at the hotel. Start your day with a visit to Jeddah's oldest neighborhood to see the unique Hijaz construction, which has been labeled a UNESCO World Heritage Site, including the Nasif House Museum. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Abdul Rauf Khalil Art Museum and the Corniche.

Day Three - Feb 14

Medina

After breakfast, transfer to the train station to take a high speed train to Medina. See the Al-Masjid an-Nawabi (the Prophet's Mosque) from the outside. Then visit Seera Museum and Uhud Mountain to learn more about the local history of the prophet Muhammad. Overnight in Medina.

Day Four - Feb 15

Al Ula

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and drive to Al Ula with sightseeing at the Dadan Tombs and Jabal Ikmah rock carvings. Lunch along the way. Check into the Sahary Resort. Dinner at the resort.

Day Five - Feb 16

Hegra

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Hegra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site to see the incredible Nabatean rock carvings that are now famous all over the world. These tombs are home to rock carvings in ancient Lihayanite script from the 2nd or 3rd century. Each outcrop of stones seems to hold new wonders.  After your visit, enjoy lunch in a local restaurant in the old town of Al Ula before visiting Elephant Rock and the Harrat Uwayrid Outlook for coffee. Dinner at the resort.

Day Six - Feb 17

Jubbah & Hail

Breakfast at the hotel. In the afternoon drive from Al Ual to Hail with a stop for lunch and sightseeing along the way at the impressive Jubbah Rock Carvings. This UNESCO World Heritage Site holds what is believed to be some of the oldest rock carvings in the Arabian Peninsula. From there visit the Qishla Fortress in Hail before arriving at your hotel in Hail. Dinner at the hotel.

Day Seven - Feb 18

Al Qassim

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Al Qassim, one of the largest date-producing areas of all of the Middle East. Visit Unaizah for sightseeing and lunch at a local restaurant. Continue onto Al-Qassim. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day Eight - Feb 19

Shaqra & Ushaiqer

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the local camel market to see the importance of camels in daily life. From there, drive to the Shaqra and Ushaiqer heritage villages. Made up of old-style mud houses, you can see how many Saudis used to live in a museum in the villages. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and continue on to Riyadh.

Day Nine - Feb 20

Riyadh

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit the Masmak Fort and Dira Souq, and then the National Museum. After lunch a local restaurant, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Diriyyah, an important archaeological site that is the ancestral home of the royal family.

Day Ten - Feb 21

Return Home

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and transfer to the airport for your flight home.
