Itinerary
DAY 1
Arrive in Taipei and transfer by private car to your hotel.
DAY 2
After breakfast, take a half day city tour of Taipei. Visit the impressive Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall and the National Palace Museum where thousands of years of Chinese art can be seen. Stop at the Martyr's Shrine to view the change of Honor Guards, the visit Xingtian Temple. Rest of the day free to explore Taipei.
DAY 3
After breakfast, drive to Sun Moon Lake in Central Taiwan. Stop at the famous Wenwu Pagoda, Ita Thao Indigenous VIllage, Xuanzhuang Temple, and Ci'en Pagoda.
Upon arrival at the Fleur de Chine Hotel, enjoy the natural hot springs at the hotel.
DAY 4
After breakfast, stop by the Xiangshan Visitor Center, then visit the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Monastery, the most sacred Buddhist temple in Southern Taiwan. Here you will get a chance to speak to the monks and nuns who live here, and learn more about their way of life. From there, head to Kaohsiung, the second largest city in Taiwan. Visit the Love River and Liuhe Night Market. Overnight at the Grand Hi-Lai Hotel.
