DAY 1


Arrive in Taipei and transfer by  private car to your hotel.

DAY 2


After breakfast, take a half day city tour of Taipei. Visit the impressive Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall and the National Palace Museum where thousands of years of Chinese art can be seen. Stop at the Martyr's Shrine to view the change of Honor Guards, the visit Xingtian Temple. Rest of the day free to explore Taipei.

DAY 3


After breakfast, drive to Sun Moon Lake in Central Taiwan. Stop at the famous Wenwu Pagoda, Ita Thao Indigenous VIllage, Xuanzhuang Temple, and Ci'en Pagoda.


Upon arrival at the Fleur de Chine Hotel, enjoy the natural hot springs at the hotel.

DAY 4


After breakfast, stop by the Xiangshan Visitor Center, then visit the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Monastery, the most sacred Buddhist temple in Southern Taiwan. Here you will get a chance to speak to the monks and nuns who live here, and learn more about their way of life. From there, head to Kaohsiung, the second largest city in Taiwan. Visit the Love River and Liuhe Night Market. Overnight at the Grand Hi-Lai Hotel.

DAY 5


After breakfast, take a tour of Kenting National Park, located at Taiwan's southern tip. Stop at Eluanbi Lighthouse, Cape Maobitou, Chuanfan Rock, and Longpan Park. Then drive to Chihpen and overnight at the Hotel Royal Chihpen where you can enjoy natural hot springs at the hotel.

DAY 6


After breakfast, take a tour of the East Coast National Scenic Area known as Taiwan's "last unspoiled land." Visit the dramatic stone cliffs of Xiaoyeliu, Sanxiantai Dragon's Bridge, and Shitiping Stone Steps. From there, stop at Fanshuliao Marble Factory before heading to Hualien. Overnight at the Silks Place Taroko Hotel.

DAY 7


After breakfast, visit Taroko National Park. The Taroko Gorge is an exceptionally beautiful ravine created by the Liwu River, which has cut through mountains of solid marble.  Stop at the Taroko Gorge Gateway and walk down the Shakadang or Lushui Trail. From there visit Swallow Grotto, Cihmu Bridge, and Changchun Temple. Drive back to Taipei with a stop at Qingshui Cliff. Overnight at the hotel of your choice in Taipei.

DAY 8


After breakfast, spend the day at your leisure until it is time to head to the airport. Transfer by private car.
